Skipped the climbing and spent a low-key weekend with Kurt and Lisa. When we're there, L.A. feels so far away, and it's just over the ridge. We both loved the fog and damp because just about everything looked so lush and perfect. Even the dogs were on their best behavior. And I got the horse to eat out of my hand!

A little side trip back to the Leo Carrillo Traverse. I FINALLY completed the first section of the traverse to the corner, and I already completed the middle section, so I only have to do the last and hardest part. And then do it altogether. It's rated V6? Something like that...
