Weekend climbing with Jon, Nancy, Deanna, Danielle, Iggy, Jody, Derek and Jeff at the Devil's Punch Bowl. Great name for a natural landmark. It must get hot (like hell! aaaagh) here in the summer. My memory card somehow got messed up (the heat? warping? sweat? dust?) and some of the better pictures were obliterated.

› Okay, this isn't a May slideshow, but the photos were taken at the Punch Bowl. Late March we went climbing with Nelson and Karl. I had Frank do a shadow YMCA but he flubbed the sequence. And the letters.

› My super-cute niece Hailey is all grown up now! Well, it's all relative. She's gained about 10 pounds and has adorable curly hair. Her favorite song is Itsy Bitsy Spider and I find myself singing it on road trips, poor Frank. I fully understand the whole baby thing now. *This is not an endorsement for pregnancy at the present moment!

› Frank's art portfolio has been updated. He's studying light and his paintings are beautiful. *This is a totally unbiased opinion, of course.

› And me? Oh, the happiest news! After 19 years I reconnected with my 2 best friends from Nigeria!

› The long Memorial Day weekend was spent in Maple Canyon, Utah (we visited there last fall). I'm putting the slideshow together for that, as well as revising the photolog layout again. Yes, again. I like this layout because it's basic; however, the main image must always be horizontal, and I want some flexibility. I may rethink the color scheme as well. So, I'll debut v.3 at the same time I post the Maple Canyon entry, in about a week. Stay tuned.
