Dodgers 5, Giants 4

I have to admit, I'm not much of a Dodgers fan. The last time I went to Dodger Stadium was 14 years ago for a Cure concert; I can count the numbers of baseball games I've attended on one hand. So imagine what a great time I had when I went to a game last Thursday! I was glad I went. (Special thanks to a certain farmer for the tickets!)

First of all: Stadium Club. No, even before that, parking. Parking was easy, right in front, no hassling with all those obnoxious drivers (mainly because Arnold was driving, not me). Okay, Stadium Club: GREAT TABLE (at the window!), GREAT FOOD (the brisket was to die for; same for the bread, salads, and desert), GREAT FUN! This was my gift to my big sister (Happy Birthday!) and I was quite happy everything turned out so well.

The Dodgers beat the first-place Giants (yay!) with Eric Gagné putting on a good show at the bottom of the ninth. The crowd roared when he got on the field, and roared even louder when he struck out the last man.

Fireworks: spectacular. The pictures in the slideshow don't do them justice. Suffice it to say that it was awesome. Some people behind us started to sing patriotic songs (oh boy), but what the hell, it was all in the spirit of Independence Day.
