Granted, it's early Fall, with the sun streaming through our windows, not a cloud in the sky. But it's getting progressively colder at night. There's a chill in the morning air, and the foliage is turning slowly and steadily red.
A last hurrah for flowers of the brightest, summeriest pink.
And for the diligent worker bees all over our late-flowering mint. Yum, minty hunny!
The lavender has been cut, the stalks stored in a pitcher on the windowsill. *sigh* Goodbye, summer!
