breakfast in the garden,

and projects absolutely not related to rock climbing! (I love how blossoms fall all over us when we sit under the tree.)

Last year we had cherries in the Frankenjura. This year, figs in Provence. Perhaps.

This is the view from the house. I cannot tell you how many pictures Frank has taken of the Notre Dame de la Consolation, at what time of day, at what angle. He has taken many. He has painted it countless times. He is fixated on the light, which in this part of the country at this particular time of the year, is fantastic.

Oh, to live in simplicity. We love it here.
